Our partners in the farming cooperatives of Guatemala entered the fair trade coffee market in the final days and aftermath of the country’s long and brutal civil war. We were one of the first companies in the USA to import fair trade organic coffee from the Chajul region in western central Guatemala, and our relationship has paid excellent dividends in this quality coffee.
